NWTC has invested in a Microsoft Azure cloud data lake and data warehouse as a repository for all of its historical data with Qlik Sense SaaS as the data visualisation platform. Having data in Azure will future-proof the business, enabling new technologies such as planning and machine learning to be easily integrated.
